Adept Psychoeducational Assessment Services |
School should be a place where students not only learn, but thrive. For many children, the path to fullest education experience involves collaboration among parents, educators, and psychologists. By understanding each child's specific educational needs, we can develop effective strategies for meeting them.
As a career-long licensed educational psychologist, I've developed a solutions-oriented approach to working with children, parents, and educators. I focus on identifying your child's unique educational strengths and challenges, drawing on the latest tools for evaluation and assessment. I work directly with you to develop a practical plan for navigating school teams. Together, we align your goals as a parent with school-based intervention and support. I serve individual families as well as school districts in California, more specifically in the El Dorado and Sacramento Counties, the East Bay, the San Francisco Bay Area and San Jose. I specialize in psychoeducational assessments of suspected disabilities such as dyslexia, learning disabilities, ADHD, executive functioning, autism, and emotional/behavioral difficulties. I provide Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE) to help determine special education eligibility under IDEA, as well as assessments for Gifted and Talented students. |
